The judges have made their decision, and we have a winner for our Handwoven Haiku Contest sponsored by the fine folks at Bijou Basin Ranch. The winning haiku came from Judy Ranta, and for her efforts she will receive not only bragging rights, but also four beautiful skeins of Bijou Basin Ranch yak and yak blend yarns.
So without further ado, here’s the winning haiku:
A stringed instrument,
my loom makes a melody
of clattering cloth.
