Handwoven at Convergence

It’s hard to believe, but it’s already time again for the Handweavers Guild of America's biannual conference Convergence! From July 14–19, Providence, Rhode Island will be full of weavers, spinners, dyers, and other textile enthusiasts. There will be workshops and classes, tours and exhibits, and (of course) lots of goodies for sale. Also in attendance will be lead BeWeave It blogger,Weaving Today editor, andHandwoven’s associate editor Christina Garton (that’s me). When not in classes, I’ll be wandering about the conference, so if you want to talk about Weaving Today,Handwoven, Interweave, or just want to say hi feel free to find me and chat. (My photo is at weavingtoday.com. I'll also most likely be carrying bags and bags of yarn.) I look forward to meeting some of you in person and hearing what you have to say about the wide world of weaving!

About Christina Garton

I'm Associatet Editor for Handwoven where I get to interact daily with all sorts of wonderfully creative people. I'm obsessed with twill and weaving dishtowels, although I'm also in love with deflected doubleweave. When I'm not weaving twill towels, I love to try out new fibers and structures and blog about it as I go!
