Hi,

I am fairly new to weaving but have loved the adventure, creativity and joy of weaving.

I am working on a scarf using the Twill Blocks No. 2 pattern from page 31 of A Handweaver's Pattern Book, 16th printing.  For some reason I have a floater in the pattern (every other block) and am not sure how to remedy it.

Have others run in to a similar issue with the pattern?

Hi Judy,

Welcome to our wonderful warped world! I entered the draft into my software and found that having shaft 4 in the tieup DOES create that float every other block. If you move that to shaft 5 the problem should go away.  I hope that helps.
