  • New to weaving - mens scarf

    I've only been weaving 3 months and purchased alpaca yarn to make my husband a scarf. It is lace weight, I did a wrap on my ruler and got 16 as the set. I am now questioning my self, if this could be to lightweight for a man. Should I double the warp threads to give it more "beef" or weave...

    I am planning to do a satin weave for the first time. I'll be using 20/2 unmercerized cotton and a 5 end satin - 2 blocks- and am unsure what sett would be appropriate. Would appreciate info from anyone with experience in this weave structure. Thanks
