Zann Carter

Zann combined Noro Kureyon, Shibui, and Claudia Hand Painted sock yarns to create her stunning free-form capelet. Individual pieces were woven on square and triangular Hazel Rose looms and were crochet-joined to create a fine example of wearable art.

Zann  ~  Love the ethereal look you gave to so solid shapes: squares and half squares.  Looks like you had fun!  Congratulations!

A spectacular piece! I just love the colors and the balance you achieved both in the use of color and in the shapes and the final form as well. Perfect!

You inspire me!

This is something I aspire to be able to do one day. I spin my own wool, and would like to weave wearable art such as this. My girls (ewes) deserve to have their coats shown off!

Are there resources, websites that would help me move in this direction? I do not have ready access to workshops and courses.

Wonderful!
