Summer and winter on 4 shafts using the profile draft. Warp and tabby weft are a 10/2/2 cotton in a fairly bright purple that doesn't want to photograph true; pattern weft is a 3/2 cotton in gold. Sett was 16epi, giving a width in the reed of just over 14.25 inches with 228 ends plus floating selvages. On the loom, this was 73.25" long; after wet finishing the final size is 61.5" long and 12.5" wide (with 2" of fringe on either end). I chose to use the alternate treadling 1-2-2-1 and 3-4-4-3 because I liked the chained look it created in the pattern blocks.

This was my first summer and winter project, my first experience with a profile draft, and only my second project on a new-to-me Baby Mac which still needs some tuning. All in all, I am very pleased with the result, though my selvages are not the greatest -- will have to work on that if I do other summer and winter projects.
