I wove the scarf with Trekking sock yarn. Wool, bamboo, silk and a lot of fun.

5 threads per cm. I only used the side pannel for pattern because of the thickness of the yarn. I washed and pressed it and it become a lovely, soft scarf with a beautiful soft shine.

Lovely.  I'm looking forward to learning more about how you combined the various yarns. I love the thick/thin contrast!

Hi Neshobe,

Thank you for your nice comment.

The Trekking sock yarns are a mixtures of wool, polyamid, bamboo and silk.

So there is no thick/thin contrast. I'll ask Chritina to change it in the discription.

This is so beautiful! The pattern, natural color, weight & softness; and exactly the kind of "fine weaving" project I want to learn to weave.  Thanks for including the photo in this gallery.  I am inspired.

What is this pattern?

I would love to attempt an advanced pattern.
