I am a weaver, cloth doll artist and felter. I weave the fabric for many of the dolls that I design and create. I teach simple weaving techniques combined with doll making, needle felted figures and needle and wet felted jewelry. I've been published in the magazines" Soft Dolls and Animals"," Art Doll Quarterly," and Doll Crafter and Costuming". One of my dolls appears in the book "500 Handmade Dolls" published by Lark Books.
I am the Roving Reporter for the Southern Nevada Weavers and Spinners Guild and their Program Chair Person. For the past two years I have had a Weaving Study group meet at my home. I've already emailed our study group members about following along with Handwoven's Study Group. They are all excited about the different weaving structures that we will be doing.
