New to weaving summer 2010!
Main Goals in Weaving:
Build all equipment used for weaving and eventually spinning.
In 2 years, cleaning, carding and spinning wool for my own textiles.
Currently exploring the Inkle loom and all of its uses with the help of Helene Bress book on the topic.
Completed Three Projects:
1. Basic Inkle band for Men's belt using Lion Brand Worsted Weight cotton(brown and green) 1 1/2 inch wide
2. More Complex patterned band for Women's belt using Crochet #10 Thread (white and Light blue) 1 1/4 inch wide
3. Card weaving on Inkle using Harrisville worsted weight wool (green, red, light grey) using instructions from Earthguild.com. Band Made for Guitar Strap. 1 1/2 inch wide
