Be My Valentine — Wall Hanging

Completed Be My Valentine Wall Hanging on the studio work wall.  HeartSong Studio pictorial blog post pending. Also pictured is my Exercise in Diagonals tapestry weaving.  Woven on a small 5" x 7" picture frame.  Pictured next to it, is the draft of my pending [the frame is already prepped and warped] Exercise in Right Angels.

Handwoven Christmas tree ornaments

All of these ornaments are made of fabric that is woven by hand on my loom. The fabric is hardened, cut and decorated with glitter and a cute little red bow. Each ornament is 2 1/8" in diameter. http://www.etsy.com/listing/87315891/christmas-tree-ornament-handwoven

Overshot Christmas stockings

I woven the fabric for the fronts of these stockings in an  overshot pattern from Marguerite Davison's A Handweavers Pattern Book called Rose Valley.  The warp was 20/2 cotton and the weft 5/2.  the back of the stocking is recycled sheet material and the lining recycled from silk shirts.

Snowflake Christmas Cards

I chose Bertha Gray Hayes' Ferns and Flowers pattern (page 127 of Weaving Designs by Bertha Gray Hayes/Miniature Overshot Patterns) to use for my Christmas cards this year.  They turned out looking like snowflakes so I re-named it Snowflake.  I sewed the edges on my sewing machine and used a few dots of glue to attach them…
